　本論ではランドスケープ計画の科学と実際に絞り，科学を構成する要素が実際の計画にどう展開してきたかを論じる。これにより，科学の本質と実際面に見られる応用の特質をみて行き，筆者が専門とする都市緑地計画学並びにランドスケープデザインのこれからの視座を提示したい。, I discuss the development of landscape architecture in the university academic setting and as practical application.  In the academic setting, we focus on the mutuality between research and education, and also on the reality of a changing society.  The general public easily misunderstands the present reality, so the direction of research and education becomes unclear.  This causes serious damage to the freedom of academic research and impedes the progress of long-term development.
　　This thesis focuses on the science and reality of Landscape Planning, I will discuss how to involve the elements of scientific research into the actual planning.
