 note = {千葉市動物公園のふれあい施設である「ヤギとヒツジの広場」において,入場者グループのグループ構成,場内における行動および滞在時間を調べた。来場者の8割が家族連れグループであり,子供と大人の入場者数はほぼ同程度,子供の大部分は小学校低学年までであった。子供に最も多く見られたのは動物に触れるという行動であるのに対し,大人に最も多く見られたのは子供の写真をとることであり,大人の関心は動物でなく子供であった。家族グループ内では動物を指さしたり,触れるように促すなどの家族内コミュニケーションが見られた。入場者の滞在時間は高気温時に短くなった。他方,動物のブラッシングなど入場者による作業時間は,気温が下がると短くなる傾向が見られ,気温は入場者の行動に影響を与えていた。, Composition and behavior of children's zoo visitors were investigated at the Chiba Zoological Park for 12 days from August to November 2012. About 80 percent of visitors were in family groups. Children were mostly in the lower grades of elementary school or before school age. Most common behavior of children was to `touch' animals, while the interest of parents was to watch their children by taking photos. Both parents and children often used finger-pointing actions to tell each other something about the animals. This indicates that the children's zoo is effective in increasing intra-familial communication. Time spent in the facility for visitors became shorter in the hot season.
