A review of previous studies on farm managers revealed three key points. Firstly, it is crucial to understand the processes and mechanisms through which managers’ managerial functions, managerial abilities, and managerial behaviors impact their business performance, business development, and regional agriculture. Secondly, farm managers possessing high managerial ability or exhibiting favorable managerial behavior tend to achieve better business performance and development compared to those who do not. Thirdly, diverse experiences in farm management contribute to the improvement of managerial abilities among managers, consequently leading to improved business performance and development.
