Among them, 100μM ouabain significantly increased sodium content of reed shoots in the presence of 100mM NaCl. However, sodium content of maize was not affected by the inhibitors. These results suggested that Na^+-ATPase might be involved in specific mechanism of Na^+ re-transport in
